The Dreaded Question....

Today in Sunday School, Caleb was the only child in attendance in his class. The other family who has kids in his class were away so he got to fly solo. Both of his teachers are wonderful women who are not far from grandparent age. He loves his teachers and I can see why. They are very dedicated to making this class the most memorable experience possible. These are also amazing women of God with incredible teaching skills who can entertain children quite easily.
This morning Caleb and his teacher were talking and he asked her if she could come over to our house after church and jump on the trampoline with him. When she told him that it wouldn't work today Caleb, with no hesitation, asked "Oh, are you pregnant? Because when you are pregnant, you shouldn't jump on the trampoline."
Apparently he and Carathy were reviewing the rules printed on the trampoline itself and that was one of them. Judy then also informed him that it was inappropriate to jump on the trampoline when you're wearing a skirt. I think he may have made her day.

Arinn Girl Can Cook

Lately Arinn has been really into making 'salads' with her snacks and then enjoying them with her babies. I am trying to teach her that she needs to eat healthy food before she can eat her treat salad.
The other day, I found this in her room on the pretend kitchen stove element.

Apparently she is catching on because she managed to squeeze a small piece of lettuce into this recipe.

To Clean or Not to Clean

Yesterday, to celebrate Father's Day, we met some of my family in Medicine Hat for an early supper. As we were winding down our meal, Arinn spotted the little packages of wipes that are offered to aid in clean up after eating ribs. She asked me what they were and I told her they were wipes. A few minutes later, I found her sitting there diligently wiping her hands with the wipe but only one thing was overlooked. She didn't realize she had to open it first. I am not sure she realized why I was laughing but she sure was cute.

Caleb's Graduation

On Monday we celebrated Caleb's Kindergarten graduation. It is so hard to believe that he is done already. My parents were able to come for the program and then had lunch with us after.
Here are some pictures from that day. Getting his certificate and gift from Mrs. Sehn

His teacher this year was amazing! She loved to play piano and sing and really got the kids into that part of it. After they were done their part of the program, she got them all off the stage and brought them around the piano so she could sing to them directly. It was so incredible and you could see how much they love and adore her.

This is Arinn and her friend Anna during the lunch afterwards. These two are going to be trouble!

Caleb, you are so handsome and wonderful. We love you so much and you make us laugh everyday with something that you say and do. We are so proud of you with all that you have learned and are excited to see what you can all accomplish in your life. Keep going, buddy - you are amazing!
