Kim's Nursing Graduation

I had the priviledge of flying to Calgary with Arinn to attend my sisters' grad. Kim graduated from Prairie Bible Institute as an LPN and I am so proud of her. She has worked very hard to get to where she is today and I wanted to be there for her special day.
Her day started with a commencement ceremony in the afternoon for everyone in the school and then in the evening was the pinning ceremony for the members of the LPN graduating class.
During the processional the graduates walked into the room carrying lanterns as a tribute to Florence Nightengale.

(these few pictures are dark because I was standing in the back with my very grumpy daughter)
Mom and Dad were asked, as Gideons, to present bibles to the Nurses. Every year they present graduating nurses from various schools with white New Testaments and this year, they had the priviledge of presenting Kim's class with theirs. Being able to give their daughter a white New Testament is a great honour that they were excited to have.

Kim - happy that is over, I think.

Three of us four sisters were there - Myself, Kim, and Kelly (who is 8 months pregnant there and looks pretty good if I do say so!)

Dad, Kim and Mom.
