This year we decided to get our tree from a tree farm. Afterward, we both agreed that we would never again have to go to a lot to get our tree. It was such a fun family experience to walk through the trees, decide on one, and then cut it down. Along with the price of the tree, this particular farm also offered rides on a wagon pulled by a tractor as well as hot drinks and cookies. We spent two hours there just enjoying being together.

I love this picture. Arinn and I were walking quite a bit behind the others after our tree was actually chopped down and all of a sudden she stopped and said, "Arinn tree!"
Enjoying the free hot chocolate and cookies. Don't worry - they didn't serve Starbucks. We just happened to have an empty cup in the car with a lid so that Carathy could bring hers home.
