The Beginning Of A Long Season

The other day I was working out in the yard with Arinn when all of a sudden she started screaming. Not one of those attention grabbing screams, either. One that made me sprint to see what was wrong. As I rounded the corner, I found her standing there shaking and pointing to her arm. When she saw me, she started yelling, "It's scratching me! It's scratching me!" I looked down and there was a mosquito. A plain and simple mosquito.
I said to her, "Just smack it and kill it."
She yelled back, "I can't!! I don't have my gloves on!"


Good grief. It's going to be a long summer.
