The Present

So I guess you are all wondering why it has taken me so long to post again. Good question. One to which I don't have the answer.

So much has happened since my last post that I thought I would give you an update in point form......

January - Birth of another nephew, Chase.
- Arinn turned 2
February - Olympics were in Vancouver so we got the privilege of going
- Mom and Dad Plett came to help us fix our driveway bridge
March - Flew to Gem by myself for a wedding shower for Kim.
April - Kim and Jon got married and I got to make the wedding cake.
May - Had our over the phone interview with Hilda Baptist Church
June - Caleb graduated from preschool and Carathy graduated from Grade 2
July - Decorated for VBS
- Caleb turned 5
- Birth of another nephew, Kaeden
- Candidated in Hilda for the weekend
August - Made the decision to accept the job and move to Hilda
September - Packed up, said goodbyes, left Chilliwack, and arrived in Hilda
October - Began our new position as Pastor couple at Hilda Baptist Church
- Had many visitors among them were Mom and Dad Driediger from Africa
November - Went to our first Pastor/spouse retreat in Banff.
- Birth of another niece, Natalie
- Carathy turned 8
December - celebrated our first Christmas in our new house
January - Arinn turned 3
- Went to Chilliwack to celebrate Christmas
- Said good bye to Mom and Dad who were flying back to Africa
February - Went with my mom to help Grandma Schellenberg move into her new place
March - Grandpa Plett had a stroke and was hospitalized
- Went to West Edmonton Mall with very good friends
April - Grandpa passed away
- Celebrated Easter

And that brings us up to May. There are several things that happened during this last year that I just glossed over but would like to add detail so I will do that in the posts to come. Hopefully I can catch you up with more detail sooner rather than later.
